SkyARCS is a modular, scalable, high-performance satellite IP network technology. It is fully compliant to the ETSI/DVB standard DVB-RCS. Due to its ability to support each terminal with up to 2 Mbit/s in the return link it is ideally suited for business applications with a high demand for information exchange of any kind.

ND SatCom's SkyARCS platform allows Service Providers to serve the growing IP business applications markets. Through the application of intelligent algorithms for transponder allocation and IP burst traffic management, SkyARCS is designed to provide optimal network performance whilst guaranteeing minimal cost of ownership.

Hub System Overview

The SkyARCS hub consists of the RLSS (Return Link SubSystem), the FLSS (Forward Link SubSystem), the IPTS (IP Traffic System), the IPCS (IP Content System) and Central Hub Management components.
In order to offer a carrier-grade system ND Satcom delivers additional Network Management Tools which ease the handling of the system and improve its QoS and efficiency.
